We are seeking a diligent and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring the quality and integrity of the items picked. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, navigating the warehouse using handheld scanners and following specific picking instructions. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential for success in this position. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver products to our customers on time and in perfect condition. We value safety above all else and expect all team members to adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This role involves significant standing, walking, and moderate Lifting throughout your shift. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order sheets or scanner prompts.
- Verify product information, quantities, and condition before packing.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity in the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and the importance of PPE.
