Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring that all stock levels are precisely recorded and managed. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with warehouse associates and management to resolve any stock-related issues. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency and profitability of our operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Must be comfortable with Lifting up to 30 lbs regularly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving regular Lifting and manual dexterity.
  • Commitment to Safety protocols and procedures.
