We are looking for diligent Warehouse Workers to join our team in Washington, D.C.! In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving and storing merchandise, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing items for shipment. You will be a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring that our products reach their destinations efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hard worker, possesses good organizational skills, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. We prioritize Safety and provide comprehensive training and the required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods according to established procedures.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage orders for pick-up by carriers and assist with Loading and unloading.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, following all Safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and the proper use of PPE.
- Support the team in maintaining efficient warehouse logistics.
- Assist with any other assigned warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous. Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Safety best practices in a warehouse setting. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks. Understanding of basic logistics principles is helpful.
