We are hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring productivity, maintaining Safety standards, and managing a team of warehouse associates. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control. You will play a critical role in optimizing workflow, improving efficiency, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership will be key to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with Safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on job duties, Safety procedures, and the proper use of equipment and PPE.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections and address any hazards or concerns.
- Manage workload distribution to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
- Resolve conflicts and address performance issues within the team.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Familiarity with WMS and other relevant software. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in Safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting, up to 50 pounds. Must be committed to a high standard of Safety and compliance.
