We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the smooth flow of goods. The Warehouse Coordinator will manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and support the warehouse team in achieving operational goals. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles. You will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage the organization and layout of the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing orders.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Logistics or related field preferred. Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a coordination or supervisory role. Familiarity with WMS software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Commitment to Safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Must be proficient in basic computer applications.
