Join our dynamic fulfillment center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to help us process and dispatch customer orders with accuracy and speed. This role is essential to our Logistics network, ensuring that our products reach customers promptly and in excellent condition. You will be involved in the entire order fulfillment cycle, from picking and packing to ensuring the quality of outgoing shipments. Your commitment to Safety and operational efficiency will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or discrepancies before proceeding.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and required documentation to outgoing packages.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move products as needed.
- Assist with inventory tasks such as cycle counting and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all company Safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals and maintain workflow.
- Follow established procedures to ensure efficient Logistics and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capability to handle Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Awareness of warehouse Safety practices and the necessity of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Basic computer literacy for using warehouse management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
