Key Responsibilities:
- Process outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order contents against shipping documentation.
- Create and apply accurate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and records.
- Ensure all packages are properly secured and protected for transit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and carriers regarding shipment status.
- Uphold all company safety standards, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Assist with other logistics and warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is preferred. Proficiency with shipping software and carrier interfaces. Excellent organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be reliable and punctual. Willingness to consistently use PPE and follow safety procedures.
