In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order slips and carefully packing them for shipment. Efficiency and accuracy are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will also be involved in preparing orders for dispatch, maintaining inventory accuracy through precise picking, and keeping your work area clean and organized. This position requires physical stamina for consistent Lifting and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace safety, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory shelves based on customer orders or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Verify the accuracy of picked and packed items against order details.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Assist with inventory control by reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in picking and packing or a warehouse environment is a plus. Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE. Reliable and punctual attendance.
