We are hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution network. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks critical to the supply chain, including receiving inbound goods, accurately stocking inventory, picking items for outgoing orders, and ensuring proper packaging and shipment preparation. Success in this role requires a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols. You'll be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to our ability to meet customer demands promptly and accurately. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders accurately using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Pack items carefully and securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and manifesting.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification opportunities available).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with other distribution center operations and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical capability for consistent Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to upholding workplace Safety standards.
