Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a stable and rewarding position? We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other machinery to move, store, and retrieve materials within our warehouse. Your expertise ensures the safe and efficient flow of goods, directly impacting our productivity and supply chain operations. You will handle a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and transporting materials to designated areas. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. You must possess a valid forklift certification or have equivalent experience. This position involves significant physical activity, including lifting and maneuvering materials, so good physical stamina is required. - Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from staging areas, storage locations, and production lines.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Organize and stack inventory efficiently and securely.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Must be able to handle lifting and maneuvering of materials up to 50 lbs.
