We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment to our valued customers. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to outgoing shipments, from verifying order accuracy to preparing documentation and coordinating with carriers. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent organizational skills. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. You will be expected to assist with lifting and moving packages of various sizes and weights, so a certain level of physical fitness is necessary. - Verify order details and shipping information for accuracy.
- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Package items securely and efficiently for transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs.
