Our busy distribution center in Sacramento, California, is hiring enthusiastic Warehouse Workers to support our daily operations. As a Warehouse Worker, you will handle a variety of tasks essential to the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, energetic, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment. Your role is fundamental to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications using RF scanners.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Load and unload trucks, using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the logistics team with various tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
