This pivotal role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed efficiently into our logistics system. The Receiving Clerk is the first point of contact for goods entering our facility, and maintaining accuracy and order is crucial. Responsibilities include unloading incoming freight, verifying contents against purchase orders and shipping manifests, inspecting goods for damage, and properly documenting all received items. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and possess excellent attention to detail. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving receiving discrepancies is essential.
