We are hiring an energetic Order Picker to join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is critical for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, preparing them for packing, and maintaining an orderly work environment. A strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are essential. This role involves significant physical activity, including consistent Lifting. We provide a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE. This is a great opportunity to be part of a thriving logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using pick lists or scanners.
- Transport picked items to designated packing stations.
- Verify product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and company policies.
- Proper use of required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to achieving daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring standing and walking for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
