Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and safety-minded individual to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse. Key responsibilities include operating forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials, ensuring that all operations are conducted with the highest regard for Safety. You will perform routine checks on equipment and adhere to all company guidelines. This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment and potentially perform some manual tasks, including moderate Lifting, when not operating the forklift. Wearing appropriate PPE is essential for all tasks performed. If you possess excellent forklift operating skills, a strong commitment to Safety, and a desire to contribute to a robust logistics network, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Safely load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Transport products between different zones of the facility.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Wear all mandated PPE during operational hours.
- Assist with inventory management and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Support overall logistics operations through efficient material handling.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required, including occasional Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrable experience.
- Proficiency in operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as moderate Lifting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and committed to fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Experience within a logistics environment is beneficial.
- Adherence to wearing required PPE.
