Position Summary
The Sales Support Coordinator acts as a central point of coordination between the Sales Team and internal stakeholders, ensuring that Account Managers have timely, accurate, and complete information to prepare customer quotations and respond to customer requests. The role supports the Lead to Order process by coordinating inputs, documentation, and follow-up across multiple internal teams. Responsibilities will include:
Support Account Managers by gathering all required commercial and operational inputs for quotation preparation, including cost, availability, and logistics information. Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Supplier Management, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Regulatory to obtain, validate, and align the inputs required for quotation preparation. Ensure all pre-quotation inputs are complete, accurate, and aligned before Account Managers prepare and issue quotations to customers. Manage sample requests through Supplier Management or internal manufacturing sites based on the requested material. Act as the central point of coordination for customer requests related to product and manufacturing documentation. Coordinate cross functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Supplier Management, and internal manufacturing sites to obtain and validate the required information and documentation. Track and follow-up on all customer requests to ensure responses are complete, reviewed, and delivered within agreed timelines. Consolidate and provide final responses and documentation to customers in a clear, structured, and professional manner. Required Experience & Knowledge
3+ years of experience in Sales Support, Customer Service, Commercial Operations, or administrative roles in B2B environments. Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences industries is preferred. Proficient in Sage, Salesforce including CPQ, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple parallel requests and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and strong process discipline, ensuring accuracy and reliability of information and documentation. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to structure, validate, and consolidate complex information. Proactive and responsive working style, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix and cross-functional environment.
