- Civils Based in Galway €70,000 DOE Tier 1 Civils Contractor Background An engineering and infrastructure organisation specialising in the delivery of civil engineering and utility projects.

Projects are delivered in collaboration with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective outcomes.

Identify and report any site hazards or unsafe conditions to site management.
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying in accordance with project requirements.
Supervise site operations, including monitoring site labour and subcontractors.
Assist with planning and organising plant, labour, and materials to meet project programme deadlines.
Maintain site records including labour, plant and material returns, site diaries, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate with project teams including project managers, planners, quantity surveyors, consultants, and subcontractors.
Support procurement activities including material requisitions and purchase order requirements.
Ensure quality control by checking materials and work in progress against specifications and inspection plans.
Assist in resolving technical issues with suppliers, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Maintain awareness of contractual obligations and programme impacts relating to variations or delays Key skills required A masters degree, bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in engineering to support competency in the role.
Membership of a relevant professional institution.
Demonstrated commitment to delivering projects safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Authorised to work in Ireland (e.g., Stamp 4 or Critical Skills Employment Permit). xcfaprz
Full Irish drivers licence.
