Receiving Associate

Job Description

Position: Receiving Associate 

Location: On-Site 

Reports to: Inventory Specialist 

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, and put away inbound parcels and freight within the agreed upon time. (all exceptions communicated to Team Lead)
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Ensure Raw warehouse is cleaned and clear of trash. This includes collecting empty pallets and removing plastic from Raw bins
• Help Shipping, Production and Line Loading when necessary
• Put production overflow back into Raw stock when necessary
• Perform Cycle Counts on items requested by Team Lead
• Possible other projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

·       1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment

·       Knowledge of ERP systems and handheld scanner

·       Previous training on forklifts, lift truck, etc.

·       Ability to lift heavy items occasionally

·       Great communication skills

·       Timely and dependable
