General Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Ignite Industrial Professionals is currently pipelining General Warehouse Associate  for our customer sites in the Desoto, TX area. A general warehouse/lumper job involves manually unloading freight , such as boxes and pallets, from trucks to prepare goods for storage or distribution. Maintaining a safe workspace, and ensuring accurate handling of inventory. Qualifications often require physical strength, and the ability to follow safety and operational instructions.

1st and 2nd shift available!

Key duties and responsibilities

• Unload freight: Receive and unload goods from arriving trucks.
• Heaving Lifting: Manual Labor.
• Move and sort: Transport pallets to the correct dock or staging area and sort products as needed.
• Inspect for damage: Check products for damage upon arrival and report any issues to the receiver.
• Maintain a safe area: Keep the loading dock clean, organized, and free of debris or safety hazards.
• Follow instructions: Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and read unloading instructions or order manifests.
