Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate  is responsible for efficiently managing various activities within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting materials, maintaining inventory, and supporting production floor operations, which includes taking the lead on cleaning production equipment and the facility. The Warehouse Clerk also takes charge of supply inventory and replacement, cleanliness, and facility maintenance tasks and assists with miscellaneous duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Cleaning pumping equipment for use in production by following SOP's ensuring work is done correctly the first time.

· Cleaning the production lines and facility.

· Kitting orders before changeovers to facilitate a smooth transition.

· Conduct quality checks by inspecting sample boxes on completed pallets.

· Accept incoming deliveries, unload trucks, and inspect materials for damage or leakage.

· Prepare outgoing shipments by wrapping pallets and loading trucks.

· Tag and weigh received inventory.

· Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the facility.

· Prepare products for filling by mixing and moving to larger containers.

· Track warehouse supplies.

· Check and replenish supplies throughout the facility.

· Communicate low inventory levels to ensure timely reordering.

· Ensure an adequate supply of product at each machine for uninterrupted production.
