Our facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a qualified Warehouse Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and efficient operation of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. You will perform essential maintenance tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that all equipment meets Safety standards. A strong background in mechanical systems and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are critical. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain forklifts, conveyor systems, and other warehouse machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures rigorously.
- Wear and properly use required PPE at all times.
- Tasks may involve significant Lifting and operation of machinery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience as a warehouse technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Proficiency in operating various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
