Location: Stannard School, Dunstable

Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Start Date: September 2026

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. You will:

• Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
• Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
• Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Successful experience in SEN teaching.
• A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
