The RoleAs a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. You will:
- Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
- Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Successful experience in SEN teaching.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
