Compensation:

Unqualified Salary: Starting at £24,604.58, with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 including sleep-in shifts.

Qualified Salary: Starting at £27,107.08, with potential earnings up to £34,851.08 including sleep-in shifts.

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Poole. Here, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values your individuality. Our staff receive specialized training in Developmental Trauma and therapeutic parenting, equipping you to provide the best possible support to our young people.

Your Role:

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Support children and young people, understanding the unique challenges they face.
  • Work flexible hours, including 7 x 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins over a 3-week rotation.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, accepting guidance and direction.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
  • Hold or be willing to pursue a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a full UK driving license and a car for travel purposes.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Be eager to learn and grow in your role.
  • Undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
