• Location: Highbridge
• Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
• Specific Hours: 38 hours per week
• Salary:
  • Unqualified: Up to £32,375.89 (including sleep-in shifts)
  • Qualified: Up to £33,640.53 (including sleep-in shifts)

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker , you will play a vital role in our children's residential home, working closely with young people who exhibit challenging behavior. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality childcare to help young people achieve their best outcomes.
• Maintaining a flexible, resilient, and organized approach to your work.
• Engaging and motivating young people through positive interactions.
• Completing daily records to meet statutory and policy requirements.

• Full manual driving license.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
• Empathetic nature with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people.

• Previous experience working with young people.
• Willingness to work towards a fully funded Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People (or already qualified).
