We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all safety protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, scheduling staff, and liaising with transport companies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in warehouse supervision or coordination. Attention to detail is paramount in this role to minimize errors and optimize workflow. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly, contributing directly to the success of our supply chain. This role involves a significant amount of coordination and requires the ability to multitask effectively. We are looking for someone who can lead by example and foster a positive team spirit. Ensuring that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE is a top priority. The position will involve some lifting, up to 50 lbs, and requires individuals who are physically capable of performing these tasks. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Manage inventory accuracy and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety regulations.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports.
- Liaise with carriers and vendors to optimize transportation and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
