Job Title: Board Certified /Board Eligible Urologist Department: Veteran Affairs Locations: Fargo ND 58102 Shift: 08:00am-04:00pm (M-F) Duration: 1 year to long term Hours/week: 40 Hours/week
Job description:
Direct Patient Care (Approx. 90%): Evaluate and treat patients in the Urology outpatient clinic daily Conduct consultations and coordinate referrals Perform inpatient rounds for Urology patients Carry out procedures including cystoscopies, vasectomies, scrotal surgeries, ureteroscopies, transurethral surgeries for prostate disease and bladder cancer Provide general urological care Preferred Skills: Robotics certification is preferred but not required. Schedule: Hospital hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. local time 80 hours per pay period, Monday–Friday No call responsibilities or Federal holiday duties Procedures Expected: Lymphatic, abdominal, prostate, urethra, ureter, bladder, kidney, penis, scrotum, testes procedures Endoscopy procedures Use of holmium laser, ESWL, and fluoroscopy
Requirement: License:
The physician assigned to perform services under this contract must hold a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia, when services are performed onsite at VA property. A North Dakota license is preferred but not required.
Board Certification:
All Contractor’s physician(s) must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
