Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for a contract role in Willis, Texas, supporting one elementary campus. This role requires an onsite presence and offers a four-day workweek, providing therapy, evaluations, and participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 60-80 students. Assist in conducting evaluations under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Participate in ARD meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions. Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals. Maintain documentation and comply with district and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification. Must work onsite in Willis, TX. Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred. Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team. Location: Willis, TX Schedule: 4 days per week, totaling 32 hours Contract Duration: Immediate start with an assignment through May 22, 2026 This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
