Established in 1967, The Cheese Shop in Concord is one of the country’s premier cheese shops with an outstanding deli, full kitchen, wine, and specialty grocery located in the historic downtown of Concord Massachusetts. We love what we do and we love our farmers, producers, and importers as they provide us with the opportunity to share beautiful products with our customers.

About the Job

At The Cheese Shop, we are focused on developing our people to continue to grow professionally, learn specific areas of interest, and expand their broader skillset. We welcome creative thinking, collaboration, and a can-do attitude. Working as a Cheesemonger, you will be working with our amazing staff to help our customers identify the best cheese and charcuterie for their need, participate in curating our full selection, and work in concert with the other departments of the store.

· Comfortable using knives

· Desire to learn the details behind cheese and specialty food

· Available on weekends

· Can multi-task

Shift Information:

Our store hours are 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. A typical shift is a full day at the store.

We are looking for someone who can work 25-40 hours a week.

Compensation

· $18-22 + depending on experience
