Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for managing daily logistics, including receiving, storing, organizing, shipping and returning inventory. Ensure accuracy, maintain safety standards, and will operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. This physically demanding, fast-paced role requires high school completion, attention to detail, and warehouse management systems.

Required Skills/Abilities

● Receive deliveries.

● Assist with pulling material for new jobs and service.

● Assist with material returns.

● Assist with inventory counts.

● Deliveries to job sites.

● Pick up material from local vendors.

● Assist in getting vehicles to and from repair shops.

● Assist with the cleanliness of company vehicles while they are at the warehouse.

● Empty trash weekly.

● Clean warehouse restroom weekly.

● Perform a variety of building maintenance including but not limited to changing light bulbs, plumbing, painting, and overall cleanliness – cobwebs in warehouse. Sweep parking lot for metal and trash.

● Take recycling monthly.

● Supports warehouse staff and project managers.
