Material Handler – Metal Stamping Facility

Location: 2809 Nationwide Pkwy-Brunswick, Ohio 44212
Shift: 1st shift- 6am-4:30pm-M-F (some Sat. hours)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are a growing metal stamping organization seeking an experienced Material Handler to support production operations. This role is critical to keeping our presses running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a metal stamping environment and is comfortable handling coil steel using forklifts and related material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move coil steel, raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Load and unload coil steel onto presses and decoilers
• Stage materials to support production schedules
• Maintain accurate material flow throughout the facility
• Follow all safety procedures related to heavy materials and equipment
• Assist with inventory control and material identification
• Keep work areas organized and compliant with safety standards

Required Experience & Skills

• Prior forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Experience handling coil steel (required)
• Previous exposure to or experience in a metal stamping facility
• Ability to read work orders and material labels
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift, move, and work around heavy materials in an industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with presses, coil cars, or decoilers
• Knowledge of metal gauges, coil sizes, and material specs
• Manufacturing or industrial warehouse background
