Material Forklift Handler- 2nd shift-4/10's - Cold storage

Job Description

Position Description :  The warehouse forklift driver will organize and store product to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy, GMPs and Safety. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

·         Load and unload trucks and railcars per bill of ladings

·         Receive, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments

·         Verification of required receiving/shipped paperwork

·         Organize and store product

·         Operate all warehouse equipment in safe manner

·         Communicate safety issues to manager/supervisor

·         Stage customer orders in organized manner on shipping dock

·         Maintain organized, safe, and clean working environment

·         Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program

·         Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers

·         This position is Monday- Thursday 4 10 hour shifts

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills : 

·         High school diploma or GED

·         Ability to read shipping and receiving records/reports

·         Dependable attendance

·         Hard worker

·         Team player

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills : 

·         Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment

·         Forklift experience.

Working Conditions :

·         Repetitive work in a fast-paced environment with average temperature of Zero-degree freezers -60 degrees F (depending on worksite location)

·         Some manual labor with heavy lifting required (approximately 40 pounds)
