General Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation to ensure smooth workflow and inventory accuracy.

1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, $16/hr

2nd Shift: 3:30pm to 11:30pm, $17/hr

Duties

• Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, crane, clamp truck, and other heavy equipment for materials handling and movement within the warehouse
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments, preparing materials for dispatch, and maintaining accurate records
• Conduct inventory counts and assist in stock replenishment to ensure proper stock levels
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety procedures and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling
• Support warehouse management system updates and documentation to track inventory movements and order status
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving is highly desirable
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or similar machinery is preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation is essential
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Warehouse supervisor experience or construction background can be advantageous but not required
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques including heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and use of RF scanners is beneficial
• Previous experience in construction or related fields involving heavy equipment operation will be considered an asset
