Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Description

Los Angles Cold Storage Company is searching for qualified warehouse forklift operators that are willing to work in a cooler and freezer environment.

Appropriate clothing will be provided.

It is preferred all individuals applying for this position should have experience in “material handling equipment” (high reach, pacer and pallet jack), but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Individuals need to

• be able to work well with others
• have a good work ethic
• be detailed and accurate

This will include their ability to

• calculate carton counts
• ties and high
• good handwriting

All employees will be required to join the Teamster Union.

All candidates for employment will be expected to pass a pre-employment background check, medical exam and drug screen.

Forklift and pallet jack skills will be tested as part of the interview process. Previous employers will be contacted for reference.
