Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

SecureCom is an electrical systems contractor looking to expand the team with a new warehouse coordinator assistant.

This position supports the warehouse, purchasing and operations staff. Primary duties include receiving inbound equipment and material and then coordinating sending of those materials to staff and customers.

Job Tasks:

• Receiving equipment & materials
• Generating outbound shipments
• Tracking of inbound/outbound materials via packing slips
• Maintaining organized warehouse spaces
• Delivery of materials to project sites - Clean driving record required
• Working with Purchasing Agent and Operations staff to identify more efficient ways to accomplish assigned tasks. Every team member is encouraged to add to company improvement
• Inventory tracking
• Shipping/receiving with different vendors

• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Clear communication both written and verbal
• Ability to use a computer including MS Office Suite and ability to learn others
• Ability to work with deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to read maps and follow directions
• Maintain a valid drivers license, clean driving and safety record
• Interest in growing as a team member. Increase in skills equals increase in pay.
