Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

Department: Warehouse/Operations

Reports To: Inventory Manager/Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within the warehouse, supporting production and order fulfillment by preventing stockouts and minimizing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical counts (cycle counts/audits), and reconcile variances between physical stock and system records (ERP/MRP).
• Receiving & Processing: Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments, comparing against purchase orders and quality standards, and accurately entering data.
• Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately record all inventory transactions, movements, and adjustments in the inventory management system.
• Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, discrepancies, and trends for management.
• Coordination: Liaise with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and resolve issues.
• Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring proper storage and labeling of materials.
• Support: Assist with related warehouse duties, such as kitting, packaging, and shipping activities as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful candidate must be bilingual in English & Spanish.
• Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems).
• Strong mathematical skills for counting and reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• May involve physical activity (lifting, standing) and operating equipment like scales.
