Description: SportsMED is seeking a Medical Insurance Specialist with experience in denials from EOB's, and following up with insurance companies on claims. Candidate must be detail-oriented, focused, and have a knowledge of the revenue process. Interviews to being immediately. 2 years of medical insurance experience is preferred. Orthopaedic coding experience is also preferred

Duties:

• Assisting patients in obtaining and understanding medical benefits
• Working AR
• Communication with medical insurance companies
• Communication with clinical staff members
• Updating EMR system
• Reviewing patient records

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience working in the medical field
• Basic understanding of medical terminology
• Strong communication skills
