We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. You will work closely with warehouse operations and logistics teams to ensure that stock levels are precise and that inventory records are up-to-date within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to safety are essential. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adhere to safe Lifting practices. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data and identify trends or patterns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and other departments to resolve inventory issues.
- Assist in the development and execution of inventory improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques when handling inventory.
- Contribute to the overall optimization of warehouse logistics.
