We are seeking a diligent Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is fundamental to the successful operation of our distribution network, involving a variety of tasks related to inventory management and order fulfillment. You will handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every step. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Stock inventory appropriately in designated areas of the distribution center.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders with precision and speed.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification and training provided).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Must be comfortable with regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Consistent use of required PPE , including safety vests, gloves, and footwear.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Dedication to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
