Function in the Job
Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Function

• Package steel materials per Shop Order instructions
• Maintain inventory of packaging supplies and skids
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load/unload coils
• Assist with slitter setup: knife selection, tooling layout, and computer-assisted configuration
• Ensure proper coil placement and shipping documentation
• Use measuring tools to inspect materials for quality
• Support production and shipping teams with additional tasks as needed

Required Skills

• • 3+ years in production
  • 2+ years working with sheet metal
  • Machine operations experience.
  • Experience operating slitter machines or metal cutting equipment is highly desirable .

Preferred Skills :

• Forklift and overhead crane operation
• Work Environment : Must be comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced setting
• Attitude : Safety-first mindset, strong work ethic, and team spirit
