Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Syndeo Staffing is searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, this person will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.

Pay:  $16-$18 BOE

Schedule:  

• Minimum 42.5 hours per week + additional OT as needed
• Typical schedule will be between 6 am & 5 pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Fulfilling product order invoices
• Unloading material from incoming trucks
• Loading products onto delivery trucks for shipping
• Assist with maintaining equipment which includes cleaning out production equipment and lines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic math skills
• Familiarity with computer and inventory software preferred
• Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Manufacturing environment – exposure to heat and cold along with humid conditions and dust
