Job Summary

We are seeking an Inventory and Receiving Clerk to serve as the sole receiving authority during their assigned shift. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our inbound inventory, ensuring 100% accuracy, traceability, and compliance with regulated warehouse standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection (25%): Verify all inbound deliveries against approved Purchase Orders. Inspect for damage, confirm part numbers/quantities, and photograph discrepancies immediately.
• NetSuite Data Entry (20%): Execute same-day transaction processing. Record quantities, lot/serial numbers, and bin locations with 100% accuracy.
• Organization & Labeling (15%): Apply internal labels and route materials to designated storage or HOLD locations.
• Order Picking (15%): Pull inventory for production work orders and customer shipments, verifying part numbers and revisions before release.
• Communication & Escalation (10%): Immediately notify Purchasing of shortages or damages and segregate nonconforming items.
• Audit Support (10%): Assist with scheduled cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Area Maintenance (5%): Maintain a secure, hazard-free receiving area; manage pallets/trash and secure equipment at shift end.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in warehouse receiving or inventory control preferred.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in NetSuite (or a comparable ERP/IMS). Ability to operate barcode scanners and label printers.
• Certifications: Forklift certification is required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
• Competencies: Strong mathematical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex shipping documentation (POs, packing slips, etc.).
