Job Summary:

The Material Handler will move parts, raw materials, unload and load parts & goods and other merchandise from different locations throughout the facility. The material handler will also help to assemble and package work orders for the production floor. Working closely with the Purchasing team. Inventory management and associated inputs into our ERP will also be a required job responsibility.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate a forklift or other powered devices needed for moving material and maintain certification.
• Loads and unloads materials into or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting support
• Labels and tag items properly.
• Maintains accurate inventory in the ERP System
• Keep work areas and spaces clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Computer Skills Required
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records, complete inventory reports
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
• Ability to adapt and work in a very fast paced environment

Education and Experience:

• Sheet metal manufacturing experience
• Forklift certification
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

Pay and Compensation:

Base Compensation: $ 24-30 / hour
