CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Standard: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• Flex Option: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (for the right candidate)

• Occasional overtime as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate to support daily operations between production and warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for safely moving tractor trailers between local facilities, as well as assisting with warehouse operations when not actively transporting trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move tractor trailers between production and warehouse locations.

• Perform yard checks and maintain accurate tracking of trailer locations and status

• Back trailers into docks and staging areas with precision

• Communicate with warehouse and production teams to coordinate trailer movement

• Operate a forklift to assist with loading, unloading, and material handling

• Support general warehouse duties including staging, organizing, and inventory movement

• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed at all times

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A required)

• Clean or reasonably clean driving record (must be provided upfront)

• Previous experience as a yard driver, shuttle driver, or similar role

• Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trailer spotting / yard jockey operations

• Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems or shipping/receiving processes

• Basic mechanical awareness (pre/post-trip inspections, identifying issues)

• Experience working in manufacturing or production environments

• Good communication skills – keeps team informed of delays, issues, or changes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Frequent entering/exiting of truck cab and forklift

Work Environment

• Combination of outdoor yard work and indoor warehouse environment

• Exposure to weather conditions, noise, and moving equipment
