Tool Room Die Repair

Position Type: Full Time

Shift: Midnights 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tool Room Die Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing simple progressive dies and compound dies, ensuring the Production department operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use precision measuring instruments (Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators) to verify dimensions and clearances.
• Inspect tooling and dies for wear or damage.
• Sharpen and, when required, build new tooling components.
• Strip out and set up tooling using an arbor press.
• Operate tool room machinery, including surface grinders, ID grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses, and saws.
• Prioritize safety and quality in all repair activities.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills, excellent attendance record, and a collaborative team spirit.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., pass a physical exam, and work on elevated press platforms.
