Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Inventory Clerk for our Laurel, MD facility to receive, store, and issue stockroom items, maintain inventory records, and support material tracking to ensure efficient movement between production areas. The ability to obtain security clearance is necessary due to the nature of US Government contracts.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Pulling, counting, and issuing components to work orders for production.
- Performing cycle counts to improve inventory accuracy.
- Stocking/Kitting transactions for materials.
- Processing and completion of work orders into the stockroom locations.
- Maintain stockroom cleanliness.
- Assist in annual physical Inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Assist with parts going out for outside processing such as chromate, anodize, brazing, etc.
- Assist with preparing cycle count data for distribution.
- Assist with planning management by expediting material through internal operations (from MS, to Iridite, to Paint)
- Adjust inventory and pull sheet counts.
- Update pick tickets.
- Maintain “Sign Out” log for those parts/ materials that are not on work order pull sheets.
- Work with production to address any shortages or damaged parts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- 1 +years of experience
- Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access/data entry).
- Costpoint experience preferred; similar production planning software a plus.
- Basic math skills in all units of measure (add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole number, decimals/fractions).
- Able to follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
- Physically able to lift (up to) 50 lbs., climb warehouse ladders while lifting, and stand for extended periods.
Education
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
