Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced warehouse associate to join our growing team in our Sussex location. To ensure success as a warehouse associate, you should exercise your skills to promote task-related efficiency across the company. Ultimately, an excellent warehouse associate should exhibit a capable, service-oriented approach in every scenario.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Receive inventory shipments – includes:
• • Inspect shipment upon receipt
  • Verify product received against PO
  • Receive products in an accounting system
  • Put away any product received
  • Pick up the product at vendor locations
• Process client sales orders – includes:
• • Pull product for delivery to clients
  • Verify orders pulled by other individuals
  • Pack stock in a neatly organized and secure fashion
  • Make deliveries to clients
  • Track shipments
• Pull MSDS & send to clients
• Perform physical inventory counts as scheduled
• Assist purchasing manager with physical inventory discrepancy reconciliation
• Conduct routine warehouse cleaning & facilities maintenance tasks

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving history
• 1-year experience as a warehouse assistant preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• A service-driven, warm and accountable disposition
• Physically fit (able to lift at least 50 pounds)
