JOB SUMMARY:

A Packaging Team Member works in a meat manufacturing setting where their main job is to operate the machinery that packages the finished meat product. They are given the responsibility to ensure that our meat products measure up to our quality standards and are packaged, labeled, and boxed correctly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Trim and package meat products.
• Weigh and sort various meats.
• Label and box product accurately.
• Ability to set up and operate equipment efficiently and with minimal defects.
• Monitor machine operation with ability to trouble shoot and make necessary adjustments.
• Have knowledge of and follow all product specifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prior related experience and/or training
