Warehouse Associate III

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate III with our organization, you will play an essential role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations. You will be responsible for unloading and loading products, picking and palletizing orders, preparing shipments to meet customer requirements, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and the ability to step into lead responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Sort inventory during loading/unloading and mark pallets with identifying information.

• Follow daily work instructions provided by section Leads or the Operations Manager.

• Pull finished products from inventory, assemble orders, and prepare shipments according to pick lists, company policies, and customer requirements.

• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned aisles and warehouse areas.

• Label cartons in compliance with customer requirements.

• Move freight and stock between loading docks, staging areas, storage, and production areas.

• Operate equipment such as pallet wrapping machines, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

• Assist with maintaining shipping supply inventory in an organized manner.

• Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up).

• Take on special projects assigned by Leads and Managers.

• Step into lead responsibilities when the Lead is absent.

• Train and mentor new employees.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work overtime as required.

• Assist with reconciling inventory discrepancies during cycle counts.

• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds for extended periods.

• Consistent attendance and reliability.

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Ability to withstand long hours on your feet and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
