Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Carson, CA team! This warehouse associate is responsible for supporting a safe and secure warehouse environment by monitoring employee entry and exit points, enforcing facility security procedures, and observing activity around the building and parking areas. This role helps ensure compliance with client and company policies. This is a Full-time position!

The positions start as a 90-day contract-to-hire.

Warehouse Associate Shift and Pay:

• 1st shift (7am to 3:30pm) **Must be open to work OT if needed  
• Starting at $16.90 /hr
• Contract to Hire

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control employee walk-ins and walk-outs at the designated entry point
• Conduct bag checks in accordance with site security policies
• Guide employees and visitors through metal detector screening procedures
• Ensure all personnel comply with site security protocols
• Maintain visual oversight of the facility parking lot
• Verify that all vehicles parked on-site display valid parking permits
• Monitor general activity around the building and parking areas
• Report suspicious behavior, security concerns, or safety issues to management immediately
• Assist in maintaining an orderly and secure entrance process for employees and visitors
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site management
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to follow security procedures and enforce site policies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain professional and calm in various situations
• Prior security, access control, or facility monitoring experience preferred but not required

Warehouse Associate Job Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a Drug test and Background check
• Good job stability
• Must have Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work individually or with a team
• Bilingual a Plus
• Regular interaction with warehouse associates, supervisors, and security personnel
• May be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or shift change periods
