Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, efficient, dependable, safety minded, and hardworking Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team! Candidates can work with minimal oversight, but willing to follow directions closely. The candidates must be teachable, willing to learn and capable of working in a fast-paced environment Primary duties will be driving to deliver and pick up goods and packages. When not performing delivery tasks, will work in the warehouse performing order fulfillment duties.
​Responsibilities: Include following, but not limited to.

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver products to customer locations or warehouse in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect delivery vehicle daily, complete check list, and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load and unload products from the truck using proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessary.
• Prompt and courteous communications with customer's receiving department staffs.
• Verify delivery information, invoices, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Obtain signatures needed to complete and process all paperwork correctly.
• Collect payments for C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) and Due Upon Receipt orders when required.
• Check customer orders to ensure merchandise accuracy.
• Check loading weight of orders to ensure correct truck weight balance.
• Work in the warehouse, picking/packing orders and organizing inventory.
• Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.

​Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of driving experience with 26-foot Box Truck.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, route driver, or warehouse associate preferred.
• Valid California Driver License with clean driving record - No Accidents, Suspensions, DUI's, or moving violations.
• No Criminal Records.
• Must be insurable by company's business auto insurance company.
• Knowledge of California roads and highways with ability to navigate safely to unfamiliar locations.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures is plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and deadline-oriented.
• Ability to handle physical workload and work in field and warehouse environment. Able to lift minimum of 60 lbs.
• Can read, write, and speak basic English. Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Vietnamese are plus but not required
